Join a leading firm in the Building Services industry, specialising in innovative solutions for projects across various sectors. With a commitment to excellence and sustainability, we are seeking a talented Fire Protection / Hydraulic Engineer to join on a permanent basis.
Role and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Fire Protection and Hydraulic Engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Design and draft Fire Protection and hydraulic systems using AutoCAD and Revit software.
Conduct hydraulic calculations and prepare technical specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Fire Protection and hydraulic systems into overall building design.
Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
Perform site inspections and review installations for quality assurance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in designing Fire Protection and hydraulic systems for building projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software for drafting and modeling.
Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations and principles.
Experience in leading projects.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Design drafting experience and familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining license preferred.
