Address We are on the lookout for an Security Operations Consultant for one of our leading clients in financial services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to platform migration and upliftment initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of SIEM, incident and patch management along with threat intelligence, penetration testing and vulnerability management and excellent stakeholder management skills.
What you will do:
This is a Security operations role and you will be responsible for:
Monitor and analyse data from various security tools and systems
Review the security control implementation across systems and services.
Coordinate with the incident response team to handle security incidents and ensure effective resolution.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
Assist in day-to-day threat mitigations against discovered threat in the world and provide risk and impact assessment
Collaborate with the rest of cyber team on solving security issues on daily basis
Stay up-to-date with the latest information about security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices
What will you bring:
5+ years experience in SOC operator experience in information security
Incident management/response
Vulnerability and patch testing management
Penetration testing and threat intelligence
Expertise in MS - Defender, Sentinel, SIEM
Extremely strong communicator - teamwork, delivery, reporting, self motivated, critical thinking
