Workpower are looking for a full-time Fire Technician to join our Fire Services team! This role might be based in Bibra Lake, but you have the opportunity to work all over the Perth Metro area and beyond. Not only do you get the opportunity to travel across our beautiful city and surrounds, but every now and then you might find yourself in our beautiful Kimberly region doing some work for Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES)!
While we would ideally like someone who is an experienced in the field, we understand everyone has to start somewhere and are willing to provide training to the right candidate.
What a day in the life of a Fire Technician looks like:
- Servicing DFES stations
- Building, testing, repairing and replacing DFES fire hoses
- Servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers.
- Having the opportunity to build relationships with a diverse range of customers
What our next Fire Technician will have:
- An easy going nature with a can do attitude
- A willingness and desire to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Certificate III in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing and knowledge of AS1851-2012: Routine service of fire protection systems and equipment are both desirable, however not necessary.
- Current Manual C Class drivers license
- A Forklift ticket is desirable but not necessary.
