Allens Training is looking to recruit casual trainers to join our national team of trainers. This position will focus on the delivery of high quality First Aid training to clients based in Goulburn, ACT and surrounds.
Background and experience in training other course types such as Fire training and White Card would be highly regarded.
Work days will vary and include weekdays, evenings and weekends.

The role:
Trainers are responsible for delivering Nationally Recognised First Aid training and other safety training to a range of diverse clients. To be successful in this role you must be self motivated, flexible, and willing to uphold the highest training standards.
Applicants that have experience in First Aid, nursing, emergency care, paramedics/ambulance, fire fighting or another relevant field, along with holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, are encouraged to apply.
Training and mentoring will be provided.
Attributes required for the role:
- Previous training and assessment experience (highly regarded)
- Recent experience in First Aid, nursing, emergency care, paramedics/ambulance, fire fighting or another relevant field
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Excellent work ethic, presentation, and the ability to work independently
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (meeting current Trainer and Assessor Requirements)
- Relevant vocational experience
- Current First Aid qualifications or a willingness to undertake required training
- Current drivers’ licence and reliable vehicle
- Working with Children Clearance (to be obtained if successful)
The ideal applicant is an experienced Trainer and Assessor that is familiar with delivering all or some of the following range of units:
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
- PUAFER005 - Operate as part of an emergency control organisation
- PUAFER006 - Lead an emergency control organisation
- PUAFER008 - Confine Small emergencies in a facility
- CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
- 10685NAT - Safe Handling of sharps and infectious waste.
