Are you a First Nations person who is looking for a career as an apprentice? Worley Power Services are seeking expressions of interest for Australia-wide First Nations Apprenticeship Program.Our program will support you through your full 4-year apprenticeship. As an Apprentice, you will be responsible for working safely while, performing routine, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance operations, project, and construction work.We have multiple roles available in the following areas:Apprentice Electrical & Instrumentation
- Ever wondered how the lights and power work, you will soon!
- Testing, installing repairing and maintaining electrical components, wiring and circuits.
- Being able to repair faulty plant and equipment.
- Work with something you can’t even see.
- Being able to understand, fault find and repair electrical components.
- When you have completed your apprenticeship, you will have the skills to work on domestic and commercial electrical installations.
- Do you like fixing things, and being able to problem solve and repair things? Have you ever looked at how things that turn, move and roll work?
- Working on large equipment from heavy industrial plant to huge rotating equipment, Wind turbines and hydraulic and air systems.
- Being able to work on all kinds on mechanical items, repair recondition and return to service.
- Fitting will also give you the skills to fabricate and machine parts, turning items in a lathe to machining them in a milling machine.
- You are a team player who is motivated to do well.
- You love to work in a safe and inclusive workplace
- Willingness to be enrolled in and complete to full term nationally recognised training course
- Valid driver’s license (required)
