Fishing Boat Building Machine Shop Operator

Working in the Machine Shop department at Bar Crusher Boats you will be supporting the team as a General Hand for aluminium trailer boats. You will be involved in assisting with the cutting and preparation of aluminium used in the construction of Bar Crusher boats.

To work in this area you will have experience using hand tools. You may have experience using laser and CNC machines and possess a general aptitude for using your practical skills and hand tools.

The successful candidate will be trained as they learn the various tasks.  

Some typical tasks you may be carrying out in the Machine Shop department:

• Using grinders and drills;
• Brake press and Laser;
• General machine usage; and 
• CNC and routering.

• Prior Machine operator experience
• You will be physically fit;
• You will be reliable and a “can do attitude”;
• Able and willing to work in a manufacturing environment;
• You will be able to communicate well with others;
• Your work history will demonstrate a good work ethic in your previous roles; and
• Current Australian working rights.
