Form of workOur client based in Dandenong South, is a global supplier of products and Automated Solutions for the building industry. They are seeking a qualified Fitter & Turner to join their team located in Dandenong South.
Role Description:
Working within the industrial automation business area, you will be responsible for leading the function for new machine assembly and installations.
Core Competencies:
- Strong technical background in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, especially in bespoke automation.
- Trade qualifications or relevant industry experience in automated machinery.
- Forklift Licence required
- Riggers Licence prefered but not required.
- Focus on assembling, commissioning and servicing automated machinery and bespoke automation solutions.
- Expertise in diagnosing faults with various systems and components.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use CAD (preferably SolidWorks).
- Welding and machining experience, along with scheduling and planning skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of OH&S regulations and a commitment to safe work practices.
- Proactive involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and a results-driven approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities.
- Works well in a team.
