You will continue to complete a Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical Trade over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Host Employer, Hyden Engineering. Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to: Use a variety of machinery and equipment Conduct housekeeping and auditing duties Carry out repairs and maintenance of small pumps, motors and lubrication equipment Operate a range of hand and power tools Assemble pumps, water spray units and grease injectors Carry out other duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence and ability as required The successful applicant
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge: Be a great communicator and teammate Have an evident passion for the Mechanical trade An honest and reliable disposition Ability to work safely and follow instructions in the workplace A P1 drivers licence (or close to obtaining) Ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including drug and alcohol screen
