About the role
This position is a permanent roll with Thiess. The successful applicants will join a passionate and energetic team where they will be responsible for providing technical knowledge, support and assistance to Thiess’ maintenance operations. The role will also provide an opportunity to expand your maintenance technical skills and become a leader in the mechanical field.

- Annual salary $144,058 - $149,723 dependant upon experience
- $10,000 market allowance
- As an added bonus, Thiess are currently offering additional 'Out of Market Payments' of up to $776 per fortnight plus super for successful candidates.

Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel Fitting
- Current Standard 11
- Current “C” Class drivers licence
- Relevant coal mining certifications
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
- Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Deliver
Advantageous to the role
- Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or on large hydraulic excavators
- Experience in general maintenance, diagnostics, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of Heavy mining equipment
- Experience with Liebherr & Hitachi Excavators, CAT 793 and 789 Trucks, CAT 18M Graders, Komatsu 375A-8 Dozers, would be an advantage
