As a Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and implements. Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy agricultural machinery.
Identify mechanical and electrical faults and determine the appropriate solutions.
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and complete repairs efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.Qualifications:
Relevant trade qualification as a Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery, preferably in the agricultural sector.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
Solid understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Valid driver's license and the ability to operate machinery for testing and diagnostic purposes.Benefits:
