AddressDue to continued growth, Hughes Engineering are currently seeking a Site Supervisor (Fabrication Trade) for Site Based Project Works in the Goldfields Region. This position is offered as FIFO 2/1 ex Perth.

We're locally owned & operated based in Kalgoorlie - Boulder with a strong emphasis on project scope of work deliverables, including tank refurbishments & new builds, structural steel remediation programs, steel fabrication & welding, fixed plant maintenance & repairs, construction; asset protection (Industrial Coatings Division) as well as workshop fabrication offering a huge variety in the scope of works we deliver.

About the Position
The role is a working supervisor position; meaning your duties will include both tasks specific to your trade as a Fabricator - Welder / Boilermaker as well as the following Site Supervisor specific responsibilities:
- Site Works Job Management: Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities specific to your allocated scope of works, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site teams, fostering a positive, productive, and safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with site procedures and complete all QA/QC documentation.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Project Coordinator and Managing Director, subcontractors, and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any on-site issues to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
Other duties include administrative specific duties in conjunction with our Projects Coordinator and Projects Administrator including scheduling, daily claims, site variations, site instructions & preparation of weekly reports.
- 12 hour shifts 5am - 5pm

What's Required
Qualifications, Tickets & Licenses
- A recognised, relevant trade qualification AUS / NZ Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent qualification
- S26 WHS Statutory Supervisor Certificate (preferred)
- National Police Clearance within last 12 months
- Working at Heights Certification < 2 Years
- Confined Space Certification < 2 Years
- White Card Construction
- High Risk License (LF, EWP)
- Drivers License
- Ability to pass a pre-employment comprehensive medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
Personal Capabilities
- Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated supervisor experience
- Minesite or Construction experience with exposure to site-based projects preferably with knowledge of fixed plant operations
- Solid experience and technical proficiency in various Fabrication - Welding applications
