Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship - Expression of Interest

MRAEL are currently seeking expressions of Interest for individuals passionate about completing a Fitting and Turning Apprenticeship.
As the Apprentice FItter and Turner, apprentices would generally be involved in:

• Setting up of machinery to enable the manufacture of engineering products
• Repair and replacement of components, parts or other items
• Design and manufacture of modifications to existing components parts and other items

Apprentices involved in this type of work would use specialised equipment and a range of hand and power tools including, welding equipment, lathes, milling machinery, hydraulic presses, CNC Lathes and tool cutting and griding equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with experience in the trade, or someone wanting to get back into the industry and complete their apprenticeship.
About the successful candidate:

• Must be an Australian citizen / resident
• Drivers licence and reliable transport
• Genuine interest in this career pathway
• A positive quick learning attitude
• Previous industry experience is highly regarded
