What You Will Be Doing
An ongoing opportunity exists for a Mechanical Fitter with sound mechanical aptitude to carry out duties in both wet and dry iron ore processing plants at Rio Tinto's Hope Downs 4 mine site. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Supervisor, you will be repairing and maintaining crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, apron feeders and carrying out preventative maintenance tasks.
Skills & Experience
- Relevant Australian recognised trade certification in mechanical fitting
- Experience working on iron ore processing plants
- 3 + years post trade experience in a similar role
- Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
- Working at heights & confined space (within 2 years)
