Our Role
We are looking for an Operator to join our hardworking team at our Tamaree lime processing plant located 10 minutes outside the township of Gympie. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be working with fixed and mobile plant associated with the production of hydrated lime.
This role presents a unique opportunity and encourages progression in production disciplines and training will be provided where required. It offers diversity in duties shared across Maintenance and Production Operating with support available for those wishing to progress their career.
As Production Operator your duties will include all aspects of the Limestone processing functions including:
- Operation of equipment including forklifts and front-end loaders
- Operate Kiln and Hydrator plant and fulfill ancillary production functions
- Participate in preventative and breakdown maintenance repairs
- Supporting management team in facilitating best practice safety and environmental outcomes across all aspects of the site activities
It is preferred the successful candidate will have previous exposure in Fixed Plant Production Operations.
As the successful candidate, you will also be:
- a flexible team player who likes to work self-sufficiently, balances and delivers on team and personal objectives in a safe and efficient manner following safe work practices;
- experienced in operating Fixed Plant (kiln and/or hydrator desirable) forklift experience; front-end loader and are mechanically minded;
- computer literate with attention to detail and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Training will be provided by Graymont as required to the successful candidate.
