About The Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Operators to work for our client working within the Recycling and Waste Industry.
- 6:00am to 4:00pm start and finish times
- Excellent base rate $38.00 + penalties and super
- Working in a Recycling and Waste environment
- Equipment Setup: Prepare machinery and production equipment before each production run, conducting routine checks and calibrations.
- Operation Monitoring: Monitor the production process for efficiency and consistency, reporting any malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to verify products meet specified standards, using measuring instruments and visual inspections.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow, communicating effectively with supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel.
- Deadlines and Reporting: Meet production deadlines, report defective products or machinery, and maintain a clean worksite to avoid hazards.
- Professionalism: Work in partnership with supervisors, actively manage performance, and cooperate professionally with customers, team, and management.
- Continuous Improvement: Commit to continuous quality improvement, participate in improvement initiatives, and adhere to relevant policies and regulations.
- Any duties assigned by the foreman/site manager or team leader
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Fixed Plant Machine operating experience
- High School Certificate
- Previous experience as a Fixed Plant worker in an automated manufacturing plant
- Experience in the Waste industry preferred
- Understanding of automated production equipment
- Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years as a production line operator, preferably in a Fixed Plant environment
- Thorough understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
