About Our Client:
Rio Tinto operates the worlds largest integrated portfolio of iron ore assets. About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Fixed Plant Shutdown Advisor to commence work as soon as possible. This position will hold a 5/2, 4/3 roster, FIFO from Perth for a 3 month duration with competitive rates available for the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a dynamic and exciting environment you will be:
Using work management & shutdown management processes to produce shutdown schedules
Prioritising work with the Supervisors, Superintendents, Engineering and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills
Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure there is effective communication of the plans to ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place
Leading the maintenance scheduling function for shutdown activities in-line with our Asset Management and Work Management processes and practices
Providing Subject Matter Expertise to site on our Planning & Scheduling, Work Management and Shut Management processes
Monitoring and improving the effectiveness of our Maintenance Planning & Scheduling process
Building shutdown schedules and maintaining capacities to ensure the effectiveness of the execution of these schedules is achieved
Ensuring targets are consistently delivered in a sustainable/ timely manner and with maximum customer satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Required:
Demonstrated skills in maintenance planning or scheduling
Extensive knowledge of SAP
Experienced with the use of MS Project and building Gantt charts
Experience with Prometheus (Preferred)
A current Australian driver's license (manual)
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple work targets
