About the role
We are currently seeking a Fleet Administration Officer for our expanding Fleet Workshop in Oberon. We have a fleet of over 1,100 vehicles which consists of Cars, Rigid Trucks, Prime Movers, Forklifts and other equipment which we service in our in-house workshop.
The role is working in a fast-paced environment with a friendly and energetic team.
The position involves:
- Scanning & entering completed & break down work orders into Mainpac
- Updating & receipting purchase orders
- Entering oil sample data into various web sites & posting sample bottles
- Issuing purchase orders for breakdown parts required from local suppliers
- Contractor inductions
- Booking parcel pickups & deliveries internal & external couriers
- Purchasing uniforms, boots & clothes arranging overalls for new employees
- Purchasing office supplies
- Administering our Safety Management System with new employee SOP’s & toolbox data
About you
To succeed in this role you will possess:
- Possess advanced data entry skills
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs.
- Have previous experience in the motor vehicle industry
- Have high level planning and organisational skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to work unsupervised, supervised and as part of a team
- An excellent work ethic.
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
