Our client is a specialist in the supply and delivery of on-site combustible liquid management solutions. We provide excellence in customer service to our clients and need a dynamic individual to join and support our small operations team. The role will be based in our head office in south Brisbane.
About the role
This is a very exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated team player to join a market leader in the fuel industry. Duties of the Scheduler will include:
- Driver Management (i.e. performance, leave periods, resourcing)
- Fleet Management (i.e. identifying efficiencies, resolving breakdowns, planned servicing)
- Driver and resource planning to ensure our customer service remains exceptional - this is a high volume, multi-drop scheduling role
- Customer relationship management to ensure we always exceed customer expectations.
The position is an integral part of a team where you will be exposed to a fast paced environment that deals with both customers and internal staff on a daily basis and having to be able to problem solve on the run.
About you
The following skills and experience will hold you in good stead for this position:
- Scheduling experience with local knowledge of the Melbourne region
- Previous experience successfully managing a designated Area/Region
- Highly organised
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- People management skills
- Clear communication (both verbal and written)
- Ability to think on the run
- Attention to detail
- High level administration skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality to provide excellent customer service
- Willingness to learn the business
- Ability to learn new IT systems
- Willingness to challenge the status quo. Always looking at what we do and what can be done differently / more efficiently
