An opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join our PFMCorp Team as full-time Fleet Maintenance Supervisoron a National basis.
Roles Primary Purpose:
Coordinate, schedule and audit vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repairs to trucks, trailers, forklifts, utes and vans.
Prioritise servicing and repairs to meet branch requirements within allocated budgets.
Provide basic training and ongoing support to Drivers on vehicle maintenance and servicing (pre-start and on-road checks including roadside break-down tasks).
Auditing pre-start reports and actioning accordingly (including the follow up of report receipting).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic vehicle maintenance training to Drivers.
- Conducting pre-start auditing.
- Prioritise servicing and repairs of vehicles.
- Coordinate and schedule servicing and repairs – maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Raising purchase orders and suppling to suppliers.
- Arranging onside repairs for breakdowns.
- Processing tax invoices for repairs.
- Ensure quality, compliance and safety of company assets.
- Monitor associated work requirements.
- Insurance claims.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in fleet management
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Familiarity with fleet management software and systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
