Job Description: "We are seeking to appoint a Fleet Reliability Technician (Electrical or Mechanical) to join our Rail business. This is a dayshift role and you will be reporting to the Reliability Lead based in Auburn This position is a specialist role designed to deliver the provision of technical and functional support and development of the fleet and reliability performance. You will be a highly skilled and experienced Rolling Stock Fault Finder and expected to engage various stakeholders whilst conducting investigations, rectification, and reporting. About you: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related Trade qualifications (Cert III or higher) Extensive experience within a similar role Be self-driven with experience in managing your time and work load within a team environment MUST have rolling stock experience Experience in the maintenance of complex electrical and mechanical systems, Experience in the use of PC based fault diagnostic tools Implementation of reliability programs in a rolling stock, asset management or heavy maintenance industry Trouble shooting procedures and methods Highly developed oral and written communication skills The ability to conduct detailed investigations Provide clear and decisive results and written reports Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to provide rapid and effective engineering support to management and trade staff A focus on safety in the workplace and in ongoing operations and maintenance activities Failure reporting and writing Ability to review performance for reliability programmes In return we offer Be a part of well-known and highly respected multidisciplinary ASX listed organisation A workplace that focuses on Zero Harm Opportunities to make a difference with a growing and forward thinking company An attractive remuneration package is negotiable based on qualifications and experience, with a firm view towards developing our employees.
