Seeking an experienced Fleet Vehicle Controller to join a team in O'Connor, starting as soon as possible
Your new company
A government department based in O'Connor, are seeking an experienced Fleet Vehicle Controller to join the state operations team. You will be engaged on an initial 12-month temporary contract, working a minimum of 3-days a week.
Your new role
As the Fleet Vehicle Controller, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and management of the state operations fleet. Your duties will include:
- Inbound/outbound stowage and kit checks
- Conduct minor repairs
- Ensures currency (in date) on all items onboard the appliances
- Assists with the disposal of damaged or obsolete items
- Cleaning of vehicles (internal and external)
- Moving vehicles between sites and servicing stations
- Adhoc warehousing assistance as required in the absence of a warehousing person
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you will have:
- Minimum MR licence
- Forklift licence
- Mechanical knowledge for light / medium vehicles
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one if you are successful post interview
