Seeking an experienced Fleet Vehicle Controller to join a team in O'Connor, starting as soon as possible Your new company A government department based in O'Connor, are seeking an experienced Fleet Vehicle Controller to join the state operations team. You will be engaged on an initial 12-month temporary contract, working a minimum of 3-days a week. Your new role As the Fleet Vehicle Controller, you will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and management of the state operations fleet. Your duties will include:
Inbound/outbound stowage and kit checks
Conduct minor repairs
Ensures currency (in date) on all items onboard the appliances
Assists with the disposal of damaged or obsolete items
Cleaning of vehicles (internal and external)
Moving vehicles between sites and servicing stations
Adhoc warehousing assistance as required in the absence of a warehousing person
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered, you will have:
Minimum MR licence
Forklift licence
Mechanical knowledge for light / medium vehicles
Excellent organisation and communication skills
National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one if you are successful post interview
