Flight Operations Officer - Ballarat

An excellent opportunity exists for a suitable individual to join the AAPA Victoria Flight Operations team as a Flight Operations Officer. This position will be based at our Flight Operations Centre located at Ballarat Airport, Victoria.

Reporting:

This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with transport of students to and from the AAPA premises
• Refuel aircraft (if qualified)
• Daily management of aircraft and instructor sign out/in through Company Software
• Assist with monitoring aircraft maintenance

Selection criteria

• MR Licence preferred but not essential
• Dangerous Good handling preferred but not essential
• Previous operational experience (not necessarily aviation)
• Good Computer Skills (Word, Excel)
• Previous experience working in high pressure environment with limited supervision
• Excellent communication and organisational/time management skills
• Willingness to adapt to an evolving work environment
• Able to work shifts and weekends
