About the facility
The Environmental Services teams’ primary role is to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff, in accordance with Victorian Healthcare Cleaning Standards and the National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards.
About the role
You will provide the relevant areas of Barwon Health and Environmental Services staff with a single point of contact for all matters relating to Environmental Services and oversee all day to day matters for the Environmental Services over a 24 hour operation; seven days a week
Responsibilities include
- Day to day supervision and management of staff
- Ensure work is completed to the required standard
- Complete delegated cleaning audits
- Resolve issues that may impact on expected service delivery standards
- Coverage of vacant shifts
- Ensure on boarding and training of new staff
- Ensure staff completion of mandatory training
- am, pm and Night shifts available
