Frontier Flooring is a leading supplier to a National fit-out company & numerous other commercial builders, specialising in the supply and installation of Commercial Floor Coverings. We are currently seeking a Apprentice Floor Finisher to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced professionals.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic & positive attitude to join our team. The ideal candidate will have their drivers license & a passion for learning & developing their skillset in numerous types of floor finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of floor preparation materials including feather finish, engineered screeds, self levelling products & concrete grinding.
- Assisting our team with the installation of various types of flooring including Underlays, LVT, Sheet vinyl, Carpet tiles & engineered timber.
- Operate finishing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- General site labour tasks such as delivery of materials & tools.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Availability to travel to rural & interstate locations if required.
- Availability to work overtime & weekends if required.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
