AddressFlooring Installer
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Flooring Installer to join our team. The
ideal candidate will possess the expertise and confidence to work independently, take
ownership of their projects, and ensure high standards of workmanship. This role offers a

Key Responsibilities:
Expertly measure, cut, and install flooring including carpet, lino and plank to fit room
dimensions and specifications.
Prepare work areas by removing old flooring, cleaning and leveling surfaces, and
installing underlay as required.
Manage and oversee carpet installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and
accurate completion.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences,
providing professional advice and solutions.
Ensure all carpet installations meet high-quality standards and client expectations.
Conduct final inspections to confirm installations are completed to a high standard
without the need for callbacks.
Perform carpet maintenance and repairs, such as re-stretching, patching, and seam
repair.
Advise clients on carpet care and maintenance to extend the life and appearance of
their flooring.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting team goals.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior installers and assistants as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a floor layer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
In-depth knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and tools.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build client trust
and rapport.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials
and working on your knees.
Remuneration:
The position offers a starting salary of $70,000 per annum. In addition to the base salary, the
successful candidate will be eligible for productivity-based rewards. These rewards will be
based on the completion of jobs to a high standard without callbacks, with the potential to
significantly increase overall earnings.
