Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Floristry Manager to join our team at the Rocklea Flower Market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floristry, particularly in weddings and events, and possess excellent management skills. This role involves managing a team of staff members, overseeing our online sales division, monitoring and delegating order intake, and liaising with couriers to ensure timely deliveries. The ability to work under pressure and jump between our weddings/events team and online sales team as required is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of florists
- Oversee and grow our online sales division
- Monitor and delegate order intake (phone and online orders)
- Maintain regular contact with in house couriers and keep them updated on deliveries
- Stock control (ordering stock and consumables)
- Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction
- Jump between weddings/events team and online sales team as and when required
- Administrative duties including email replies, quoting etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of floristry experience, including weddings and events.
- Preferred: Management experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Formal qualification in Floristry (experience will be considered without formal qualification).
