AddressForming a part of our Logistics team, the role of Flow & Automation Lead is to provide technical support of the ASRS, the SAP processes and optimisation of our Swanbank Distribution Centre on a daily basis. You will ensure that the inbound and outbound inventory functions within a technical ASRS and traditional (racked/blocked stacked) environment is completed to ensure appropriate inventory control and customer service.
We’re creating something new and world-class and this role offers a unique opportunity to join the business before our go-live date, you will be a part of the team responsible for designing & embedding process and technical understanding of our automated machinery as we move toward our go-live date.
Key responsibilities will include:-
- Subject matter expert of system processes and pallet flow throughput
- Optimisation of system activity to manage both bulk & route loads
- Key contact and support for system related issues, including trouble shooting
- Maintenance of system data
- Planning & executing the ASRS operational flow for the DC
- Detailed understanding of system processes and process governance
- Analyse cost saving ideas to ensure focus is put in the right areas for savings to be realised
- Analysis of improvement areas within the ASRS to provide input on system improvements
- Lead, mentor and develop two direct reports
- Support key projects for the site
