**CASUAL POSITION - PART TIME FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE**
About the role…
Working across the food & beverage department and/or front office.
Our focus is giving a great guest experience. Serve them promptly and provide an excellent first and last impression for everyone who enters our building.
Your task will vary between traditional food & beverage tasks (Take orders, pouring drinks, delivering food including room service, general restaurant cleaning etc) and front office tasks (processing reservations, checking people in/out, cash handling and balancing, dealing with telephone enquiries etc). However you will also find yourself making coffee's, assisting guests with questions about TV and AC controls, room service & assisting with functions/events when needed. A role with plenty of variety.
You will need;
- Great customer service and communication
- RSA
- Availability across a 7 day roster (WEEKEND, EVENINGS & PUBLIC HOLIDAY AVAILABITY IS A MUST)
- Maintain the hotel property management system, documentation and equipment efficiently
- Maintain great working relationship with colleagues
- Ensure privacy of information of our guests and belongings
- Works well in a team and on your own
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
- Great customer service skills and a positive outlook even under stress are paramount
- Previous customer service experience (in a bar or front office environment)
- Experience with Opera is beneficial
- RSA qualified
- Own transport is essential
