The Spalding Park Golf Club currently have a Permanent Part Time (20 hours per week) position available for a Food and Beverage Attendant.
You MUST hold a current RSA and be willing to work towards an Approved Manager Card as well as have the ability to work until 6pm week days and flexibility over weekends. A roster can be worked to accommodate the right candidate.
Qualifications & experience
- A love of all things hospitality!
- Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail;
- Ability to work across a 6-day roster including some evenings.
- Strong communication skills;
- A willingness to learn and grown – our membership is growing continuously as is the demand for functions and corporate golf days – if you are keen to learn and work – the future opportunities are endless.
- Current RSA with the ability to work towards an Approved Managers card within 3 months of employment start.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Excellent working knowledge of Food & Beverage hospitality operations

- Flexible in working day, night & weekend shifts as the Clubhouse is open every weekend & most public holidays.
- Kitchen & Food Preparation skills are highly sought and extra hours will be available for someone with this skill set.
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will be able to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to our Members and guests.
- Deliver outstanding service to corporate and group clients including conferences and banquet style events.
- Develop and maintain the beverage product and supplies
- Create and implement standard operating procedures for bar operations
- Ensure efficient inventory management and participate in monthly stock takes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with Club policies for beverage service
- Oversee food & beverage closing procedures and ensure security
- Provide direct service during peak periods
- Serve as the Club’s opening or closing manager as needed
- Complete additional tasks as requested by the Club Manager
