The Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill is located on the central city fringe, just minutes from the CBD, Brisbane River, Suncorp Stadium and public transport. Overlooking the city skyline and Roma St Parklands, the Hotel features 179 spacious guest rooms with generous open-aired balconies, modern amenities, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, and an alfresco-style restaurant and bar.
We have the opportunity for a Part-Time Food & Beverage Attendant to join our fast paced and dynamic Food & Beverage Department.
This role will work as part of a focused team, living the culture of guest passion and excellent service.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILL INCLUDE:
- Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation,
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience with a friendly, guest focused attitude,
- The ability and flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends and public holidays,
- Currently hold, or willing to obtain a QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate,
- Experience within a hotel or resort restaurant, bar or banqueting department(s) will be highly regarded.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Delivering warm and friendly service while working across the Osteria Roma restaurant and bar, and Conference & Events.
- Order taking while maximising sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling,
- Have the availability and flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday including early mornings and late nights and Public Holidays.
- Work as part of a focused team, living the culture of guest passion and excellent service.
