The Role
We are looking for a driven and passionate Food and Beverage Operations Manager. A dynamic hands-on role which leads the day-to-day food and Beverage Operations in the hotel; including restaurant, bars, events and function rooms.
The food and Beverage Operations Manager will effectively lead and engage the team, cultivating a positive and productive team culture, focussed on providing the highest level of service.
Our ideal candidate is a person who is confident, with proven leadership traits, combined with excellent problem-solving abilities. .
In this role you will:
- Manage the service of food and beverage within the restaurant, bar, room service and conferencing, outside catering area.
- Being responsible for the effective management of the Food and Beverage on a day-to-day basis.
- Oversee the restaurant, bar and conference and functions service operations that maximises efficiency and effectiveness and service delivery.
- Innovating and approving all menus and products for sale within the F&B areas of service.
- Maintaining a high quality and consistency of food and beverage products.
What we are looking for
If this role interests you and you can demonstrate that you have:
- Experience in leading and supervising food and beverage departments and teams in medium to large hotel.
- Highly developed interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, including negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
- Coordinate between Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure that preparations for events and functions have been made.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations.
- An ability to ask the right questions and listen intently to gather enough information to solve problems, resolve complaints and create those Heartist Moments.
- Champion the Heartist culture and live Accor values
- Someone who can lead by example, is hands on and can instill a sense of fun in the workplace.
- Hold a valid RSA – essential.
