An exciting opportunity has opened for a warm, dynamic, and sales-driven Food & Beverage Sales Executive to join our expanding Sales team at Joondalup Resort.
THE ROLE
The Food & Beverage Sales Executive will be working as an integral part of our Sales team and will be responsible for group (12+ guests) and event coordination for the food and beverage retail outlets (entire resort) and facilitation of resort initiatives, projects, and signature events, including communication with key stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage incoming event and group enquiries
- Complete banquet event orders ensuring all information is accurate
- Conduct sales calls, face to face meetings, site tours and any other sales activities as required
- Coordinate outlet special events and communicate between stakeholders and departments to ensure smooth and on brand efficiencies
- Manage event calendar creation and forward planning for each F+B retail outlet
- Coordinate resort signature events e.g., Christmas Day, Valentines Concert, NYE etc
- Liaise with key stakeholders of all signature events
- Facilitate resort initiatives as requested by the Group General Manager, Hotel Operations Manager, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Sales Manager
ABOUT YOU
You will bring to our team:
- 3 years’ experience working in a similar size hospitality property
- Knowledge and understanding of event systems and software (full training to be provided for our software)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (word, excel)
- Demonstrated sales skills
- Sales-driven, proactive and organised
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly and confident nature
- Passionate about the events industry

This is a part-time position, ideally Monday to Friday, however we are able to negotiate flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
