Food Production Operators Wanted!

We have a few exciting opportunities to work with a leading Australian Contract Manufacturing company in Clayton. We are looking for successful Production Line Operators with machine operating experience on flow wrap machine desired! 

Our client manufactures many health foods such as rice cakes, cereals, protein bars, muesli bars, granola, oats, powder milk and other health foods to leading retailers and FMCGbrands all around Australia. 

Our client is offering $31 per hour for the right people with can-do attitudes. 

REQUIRED  

• Worked in Food Manufacturing environment for at least 1 year minimum 
• Must have Food Production experience in a manufacturing environment for at least 1 year. Flow Wrap Machine experience highly desirable however not essential, If you have had any experience operating machines that would be advantageous. 
• Must have worked in a fast paced manufacturing environment, working on conveyer belts (line) packing products at a fast pace or quality checking duties. 
• Available to work 5/6 days a week and willing to do over-time hours if required. 
• Shift timing is 7:45pm to 4pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays, You will be offered to work overtime starting earlier and finishing later some days. 
• Regular OT (including Saturdays)
• Own transport 
• Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions 

YOUR DUTIES 

• Check and understand the production plan
• Start up and set up machines 
• Packing finished goods 
• Basic Maintenance and trouble shooting machines
• Perform safety, quality and process checks
• Ensuring quality of the product consistently meets requirements 
• Cleaning and keeping a tidy environment 
• Wearing correct PPE including steel cap boots
