About the position
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Supervisor, based at our Mount Kuring-gai site. The purpose of this role is to manage, coordinate and monitor the production and packaging of our Dough Processing and Baking products of the Mount Kuring-gai site. Ensuring that products are manufactured, stored, and distributed to the highest commercial quality/efficiency whilst, meeting corporate and statutory requirements.
The role requirements include:
- Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to GMP standards
- Assist in building a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Adhere to process requirements, specifications and standards
- Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective action immediately
- Assist in the development of Best Practice Standard Work Instructions
- Improve site production efficiencies.
- Production figures - this includes hours worked, labour count, batches mixed, packaging consumed & waste, to be recorded accurately and on time i.e., daily at the end of shift.
Essential
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles
- Willing to work as part of team towards a common goal
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Leading or Managing Teams
Desirable
- Experience in a Bakery or food processing environment or FMCG
- Baker by Trade
