The Papas Group have 3 high demand stores : Pasticceria Papa in Five Dock, Ristorante Papa in Haberfield and Pasticceria Papa in Bondi and a highly productive and successful manufacturing plant and Wholesale business.
There is now an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Food Production Supervisor to join the team, at our Five Dock manufacturing facility
To be successful you will need a passion for the following:
- As a Papa Leader you are expected to be ‘hands on’, working side by side with the Production Team. You will be required to follow the Production schedule and assist with ‘doing the work’ required, in a normal factory setting.
- You will tap into your previous experience within the Food Industry to provide input and suggestions to improve our environment and to practically contribute to the betterment of Papa.
- You will respond positively and quickly to issues on the floor.
- You will be keen to ensure our Team is well trained and enthusiastic about efficient output within Production guidelines.
- The Papa Supervisor is responsible for continuously improving the skills, knowledge and morale of all employees.
- He or she treats the employees with dignity and respect; creates an environment where the entire team does the same.
- As a Supervisor at Papa you will be an effective trainer, motivator, empowering the Team to deliver.
- You will be required to evaluate each employee’s ability to maintain high standards and work with individuals to ensure Job Satisfaction and improvement in work performances.
- Our Supervisors work with Management and Team Leaders to maintain the Factory at the level necessary to meet or exceed the company standards for Quality, Service and Cleanliness
From a Factory management perspective you will be require in practical terms to:
- Meet quality and timely deadline within the Manufacturing plant at Five Dock
- Produce Daily Reports on operational matters
- Contribute to improving and implementing WH&S policies and procedures including Tool Box meetings.
- Open and close procedures relating to a Factory
