• FOOD Retail MERCHANDISER, BUYER + TEAM LEADER - Bendigo Wholefoods SHOP. Includes but not limited to the following....
• Working as part of our Buying Team focused on FOOD RETAILING and BUYING as well as TEAM LEADER shopfloor customer service AND maintaining shopfloor and online standards...
- BUYER, STOCK MGT, MERCHANDISING INSTORE + ONLINE for CUSTOMER SERVICE and SALES.
- Requires seasonal planning, ordering, merchandising, stock management, waste management and business unit performance.
Also involves liaison with suppliers and customers around specialty orders both INSTORE AND ONLINE ORDERS.
- TEAM LEADER AND DAILY OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT.
- Team Leading a retail CUSTOMER service plan and following and completing Start of Day or
End of Day procedures. Including Point, eftpos, Cash handling, daily taking procedures and food safety compliance.
- HOURS OF WORK:
- 4 Days ON inc weekends inc Saturday + some Sundays in the future.
Most likley Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday + some Sundays.
• WORKS and reports to SHOP OPERATIONS MANAGER and the Business Owner and assists cafe and food and beverage operations from time to time.
• Foodie focused...Customer focused....Team player...Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. Results/outcomes orientated and proven track record via professional referees.
• Suit trade qualified chef? baker? wanting daytime hours.
• Has a CAN DO attitude and can bring a GOOD VIBE FOR THE TRIBE. A busy bee that can bring a buzz to the biz....
• Level 4 Retail Award. Casual with view of PT in the future....includes weekend penalty rates.
• Must have RSA and DOFOODSAFELY + Allergen certificate both free online. Include in application.
• Scope for Business Admin work. Excel, XERO prep etc
