AddressCrocare is seeking Food Service Assistants and Kitchen Hands with experience in aged care to join our team and play an important part in our Catering Department.
The Catering team play a vital role in supporting the overall well-being of residents by contributing to their dining experiences. They help create a welcoming atmosphere during mealtimes and work diligently to ensure that residents receive nourishing and enjoyable meals tailored to their individual needs.
Must be familiar with:
- diet types
- diet textures
- fluid consistencies
- reading resident food and fluid care plans
- plating food in a neat and appealing manner
Responsibilities include:
- Meal preparation, serving, presenting and delivery of food for residents
- Dining room setup
- Washing dishes and cleaning in accordance with food safety program
- Provide feedback regarding residents’ likes and dislikes regarding menu planning
- Participate in continuous quality improvement program
- Deliver excellent customer service
Please Note:
We are looking for staff who can commit to, at minimum, 3 days per week. As part of the application process, you will be required to complete pre-employment checks which may include, but is not limited to reference checks, work rights, criminal history check, NDIS/WWCC/WWVP checks, and a health evaluation to ensure suitability for the role.
Must have Aged Care experience to be considered.

Set on a large site with beautiful, landscaped gardens located in Geelong, with an allocation of 100 beds, including the ability to accommodate 28 residents in our secure Memory Support Unit.
