About The Role
In our Catering team, you will work alongside a fast-paced team that thrives on delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Ramsay Core Values.
This role will involve:
- Collaborating with a compassionate team focused on patient care.
- Assisting in the preparation of meals tailored to meet special dietary requirements.
- Taking orders for food and beverages from patients.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation in Food Services areas.
- Upholding the highest standards of infection control.
- Maintaining food hygiene, cleanliness in the workspace and safety protocols.
- Supporting the team with various tasks as needed.
Flexibility to work across a 7- a day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
Your skills and experiences:
We are actively looking for an ideal candidate with a solid work ethic and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations. Punctuality, reliability and a dedication to providing genuine, friendly customer service are essential.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital setting preferred, although not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene protocols
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Adherence to HACCP, Food safety , Workplace Health and Safety standards.
- Possession of a III in Hospitality is essential.
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $27.88 - $29.30 + a casual loading of 25% + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of other penalties or allowances.
