Food Services Assistant - Kitchen Hand

Our client provides care services to our local community whilst upholding quality and safety standards in all aspects of their operations, including the Food Services department. As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients, clients, residents, and staff.

As a Food Services Assistant - Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. 

The key skills required for this role include: 

• Prioritising health and safety by taking reasonable care of yourself and others, participating in OH&S policies, and reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all related information.
• Demonstrated ability to be caring and compassionate towards a diverse range of individuals.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings as rostered.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in food preparation, preferably in healthcare or commercial kitchens.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
