About the role:
We are looking for motivated Food Services Assistants to join our Hotel Services team in the Geelong region on a casual basis with the potential for Permanent shifts
You will provide our residents with memorable dining experiences that enhance their daily lives. Organised and keen to serve, you appreciate and respond to resident needs by listening and communicating, escalating any concerns as needed, all whilst ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained.
The role involves:
- Preparation, presentation and delivery of food and beverages in accordance with the Food Safety Program
- Adhering to and assisting with general Food Safety compliance activities
- Contribute to menu planning to meet resident's individual needs and preferences
About you:

- Completion of a Basic Food Handlers Certificate (Desirable)
- An understanding of resident’s rights, OH&S and the Food Safety Act
- Experience in Food Services in Aged Care / Health (Desirable)

- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions

Essentials for working in Aged Care
- A current Working With Children’s Check, NDIS Check, flu and 3 covid-19 vaccinations
- Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
