Warehouse Forkift Operator

As a Warehouse Forklift Operator you will play a vital role in the company's logistics and distribution operations. You will be responsible for efficiently and safely handling incoming and outgoing shipments of premium wine products. This includes receiving canned orders, stacking pallets, applying corner boards, restacking pallets, and ensuring the integrity of the products throughout the warehouse process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments of 12-pack wine orders.
• Safely operate a forklift to stack pallets of wine five high, adhering to stacking guidelines to maintain product integrity.
• Apply corner boards to pallets to ensure stability during transit.
• Restack and wrap pallets as needed to optimise space and ensure safe handling.
• Lift bags weighing up to 7kg as part of the warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Valid forklift certification/license.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 7kg.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
