What you will do
- Assist the Cook/Chef to prepare meals and menu planning
- Clean dishes, work benches and other areas as required
- Understand resident's dietary requirements when serving and preparing food
- Set and arrange tales and chairs in accordance with procedures
- Store, prepare and serve food in accordance with the Food Safety Plan.
- Cleaning where required within the facility
What we look for
- Food handling certificate is essential but not limited to
- Previous experience with food handling and cleaning
- Proven skills around infection control and safe food handling
- Proficiency in communication and teamwork.
- Preferred background in Aged Care or a related field.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements set by the Government mandate and Fronditha Care Policy.
