To continue with our meaningful purpose, we are currently seeking passionate, experienced, and capable Food Services Attendant to join our team in a permanent part time capacity.
Food Services Attendant serves and delivers nutritious meals to clients with care and attention to their individual needs and preferences.
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to set menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensure that food is plated and served at the appropriate temperature and consistency.
- Plate meals accurately and aesthetically for residents, taking into consideration any specific dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas before and after use.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Dispose of food waste and garbage properly and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
- Adhere to safe food handling practices and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP standards, and maintain accurate records related to food preparation, storage, and serving.
- Strong customer service mindset with empathy for the elderly.
- Knowledge and adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.
