East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing the five communities of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof, in North Western Victoria.
East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) has an exciting and rewarding new career path delivering high quality care to our clients as a Foot Care Nurse under the direction of experienced podiatrists. You will be a qualified Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse whom is either already credentialled in Foot Care or available to complete a two day course to undertake this specialised nursing.
Candidates will work under the direction of our qualified podiatrists and will be hands on, assessing and performing all aspects of basic Foot Care on clients while maintaining equipment and restocking consumables.
Candidates must demonstrate their excellent Interpersonal and communication skills which will be required to educate clients and liaise with other health care professionals and keep accurate and timely health records.
Travel between campuses will be required so a current Victorian Drivers Licence is essential.
Medication endorsement is preferred.
