Job Description:

On offer a 4 day week, As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth operations within our service centre. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing them with guidance, advice, and recommendations on their vehicle's service and maintenance needs. Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Determine the customer's vehicle service and repair needs by actively listening and conducting thorough inspections.
  • Provide accurate estimates and quotes for recommended services and repairs, explaining the benefits and potential risks involved.
  • Consult with customers on maintenance schedules, warranty coverage, and available service options.
  • Assist customers in scheduling appointments and maintaining a streamlined workflow for efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, providing updates on the status of their vehicles and any additional services required.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve any issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and repairs performed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, manufacturer recalls, and service bulletins to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Communication Pro: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers. Exceptional organisational skills to maintain detailed records and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Innovative Thinker: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively address customer concerns.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient computer skills to accurately record customer information and access service manuals. Solid understanding of automotive systems and repairs to provide accurate information and recommendations.
