Aboutthe position
The Foreman Programmed Water Maintenance position is responsiblefor leading and supervising a Council team through the progressionof water main maintenance works program/s.
- The salary range for this position is $77,223.52 - $87,970.19 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- This is a permanent full time position based at our Principal Depot in Charlton.
- This position participates in a nine (9) day fortnight working arrangement.
Aboutthe Water Infrastructure Services Branch
The Water and Sewer Maintenance Section forms part of the WaterInfrastructure Services (WIS) Branch. It is responsible forcarrying out the Passive assets management and maintenance of thecommunity Water supply and Wastewater collection pipeline networks.These works are essential for maintaining public health, protectingthe environment, andpromoting sustainable water management.
The Water and Sewer Maintenance Section services a regionencompassing Toowoomba,Crows Nest, Oakey, and Millmerran ofoperational works entailing:
- Reactive Water/Sewer works
- Programmed Water/Sewer works and private works
- Supply network Bulk Water mains works
The team plays a service crucial role in the WaterInfrastructure Services Branch and believes in fostering a positivework culture that promotes employee well-being, engagement, andsatisfaction creating an environment where employees feelsupported, motivated, and empowered to perform their best work.
