Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high construction standards and identify any issues or defects.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, to provide progress updates and address any concerns or challenges.
- Manage project budgets, materials, and resources efficiently to optimize project performance.
- Mentor and supervise on-site staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and productive team environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with a focus on remedial construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction sites, delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams to achieve project goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal employees.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, particularly in the remedial construction field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Valid construction industry certifications and licenses.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability in construction practices.
