Foreman/Site Manager

We are looking for a Foreman/Site Manager with at least 5 years of experience in multi-residential construction. This is a permanent full-time role with an attractive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus super.
 
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Be responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring that completed work meets the standards and specifications pre-agreed with clients
• Liaising with colleagues and clients 
• Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed on time 
• Monitoring budgets to avoid overspend 
• Supervising construction workers and subcontractors 
• Reporting on project progress to senior managers and stakeholders 
• Conducting quality and safety inspections 
• Ensuring work is finished to the agreed standards 
• Maintaining quality control checks 
• Coordinating teams 
• Day-to-day problem-solving and dealing with any issues that arise 
• Signing off and handing completed work over to the client

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

• 5+ years experience in multi-residential construction
• A current driver's licence and reliable car
• A great eye for detail
• Can work under pressure and to deadlines
• A critical thinker and problem solver
• Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Have a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and are a great team player
