The role
As part of your role in Forensic Accounting, you will be supporting the forensic accounting team on a wide range of cases including investigations, commercial disputes, loss of profits claims and some contentious and non-contentious valuation work.
Your role will involve; undertaking detailed analysis, modelling business valuations or losses suffered by businesses, drafting short reports or sections of larger reports under the guidance of the team, supporting business development activities and starting to build lawyer relationships. You may also be required to support with client management (i.e., conflict checks, checklists and setting up clients) and updating pipeline opportunities.
About You
In terms of your existing experience, we are looking for a newly qualified accountant, with several years’ experience including but not limited to audit, tax or compliance roles. The kind of skills you will possess are including but not limited to; strong report writing skills, analytical skills (high degree of competence in Excel) strong interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and establish credibility with colleagues and clients. You are also a self-starter and self-motivated, with good attention to detail.
